Injectable Treatments
Neuromodulators: Dysport and Botox
Before Treatment Care
- Minimize alcohol intake for 48 hours prior to treatment to help reduce bruising
- Plan injections 2 to 3 weeks before significant events such as weddings, graduations, or professional photos
Aftercare
- Avoid facial massage, facials, facial waxing, or permanent makeup for 48 hours
- Avoid lying face down for 48 hours
- Mild swelling or bruising is possible and temporary
Dermal Filler
Before Treatment Care
- Avoid alcohol for 48 hours prior to treatment
- Arnica may be used to help minimize bruising
- Review your calendar carefully, as bruising and swelling are very possible
Aftercare
- Lips: Apply Aquaphor for the first 24 hours. Avoid straws, round objects, and biting the lips
- Other areas: Avoid massaging treated areas
- Avoid lasers and facials for one week
- Avoid permanent makeup for at least 2 weeks
Sculptra
Before Treatment Care
- Minimize alcohol intake for 48 hours prior
- Arnica may be taken sublingually to help reduce bruising
Aftercare
- Follow the 5-5-5 massage rule - Massage treated areas for five minutes, five times per day, for five days. This step is important to help distribute the product under the skin and into the fibroblasts
Kybella
Before Treatment Care
- Minimize alcohol intake for 48 hours prior to treatment
Aftercare
- Swelling and bruising are expected and will be most significant for the first 72 hours, but could last 2-3 weeks
- Arnica may be used to help minimize bruising
- Icing the area during the first 24 hours may help with discomfort

Dermaplaning
Before Treatment Care
- Avoid active breakouts in the treatment area
- Avoid exfoliating products or retinol for 2 to 3 days prior
- Arrive with clean skin and no makeup when possible
Aftercare
- Focus on hydration and moisturizing
- Wear sunscreen daily, as skin may be more sensitive to sun exposure
- Avoid exfoliating products for several days
- Mild redness or sensitivity may occur and typically resolves quickly
Diamond Glow Facial
Before Treatment Care
- No special preparation is required
Aftercare
- No downtime or special aftercare is required
- Skin may appear brighter and more hydrated immediately after treatment
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
Before Treatment Care
- Arrive well hydrated
- Microneedling with PRP: Stop retinol products 2 days prior
- Tear trough: Minimize alcohol intake for 2 days prior
Aftercare
- Cleanse with a gentle cleanser
- Use post procedure cream provided for healing
- Follow a minimal skincare routine for 3 days
Microneedling (SkinPen™)
Before Treatment Care
- Stop retinol products 2 days prior to treatment
Aftercare
- Expect redness similar to a sunburn for 24 to 36 hours
- Pinpoint bleeding is possible
- A light peel may occur approximately 3 days after treatment
- Use only recommended post procedure skincare for the first few days
ZO 3 Step Peel
Before Treatment Care
- No special preparation is required
Aftercare
- Expect peeling, with peak peeling around days 3 to 5
- Avoid makeup until peeling has completed
- Use gentle skincare and moisturizer until peeling resolves

Before Treatment Care
- The treatment area must not be tanned
- Trim hair in the area to be treated
- Avoid waxing or depilatory (eg: Nair) products for 2 weeks prior
Aftercare
- Avoid waxing or shaving for the first 24 hours
- Shaving or waxing may resume after 48 hours
- Gentle exfoliation may begin after 48 hours
Forever Clear™ Acne Treatment
Before Treatment Care
- No Accutane use within the past 6 months
- Arrive with clean skin and no makeup
- Avoid heavy sun exposure prior to treatment
Aftercare
- You may resume normal activities immediately
- Continue a consistent skincare routine
- Wear sunscreen daily
- Mild redness may occur but typically resolves quickly
Forever Young™ BBL HEROic
Before Treatment Care
- Accutane use requires a 6 month waiting period
- Stopping retinol 48 hours prior is recommended
Aftercare
- Pigmented areas may darken initially
- Some spots may flake off within 48 hours
- Pigmentation and redness will continue to improve over the next several weeks
- Follow a minimal skincare routine for the first 3 days
MOXI
Before Treatment Care
- Accutane use requires a 6 month waiting period
- Stop retinol products 48 to 72 hours prior
Aftercare
- Follow post procedure skincare instructions provided for 7 days.
- Expect a rough or sandpaper-like skin texture with microscopic dark dots
- Face typically heals in 4 to 5 days
- Body areas may take 10 to 14 days to heal
- Avoid makeup for 4 to 7 days, except eye or lip makeup
Thermoclear
Before Treatment Care
- Arrive with clean skin and no makeup
- Avoid self-treating or picking at the area prior to your appointment
Aftercare
- Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor as directed
- Do not pick or scratch treated areas while healing
- Expect some redness or small scabbing depending on what was treated
- Healing time varies based on age and the area treated
